Our top-pick Sussex spas set to reopen this summer

We love that South Downs Water has been picked as the Natural Mineral Water of choice by the South Coast’s leading luxury spas.

Thanks to its naturally low-sodium-high-calcium composition, and being enriched with minerals from deep within the South Downs, our water goes hand in hand with some of Sussex’s top spa venues to help promote wellbeing and keep guests hydrated throughout their visits.

With spas set to reopen from the end of the week, we have gathered some of our favourite spots to relax, unwind – and enjoy a few glasses of South Downs Water, of course.

The Spa at South Lodge is a multi-award winning luxury spa with a state-of-the-art gym and spin studio, indoor pool, outdoor hydrotherapy pool and wild swimming pool, a thermal suite and treatment rooms for members, hotel residents and spa day guests. Set amongst stunning grounds just outside Horsham, it’s a must-visit. We recommend making a booking in their Mediterranean inspired restaurant, too.

Ockenden Manor Spa, Cuckfield, West Sussex

A harmonious blend of modern design and nature’s inspiration nestled in the West Sussex countryside, Ockenden Manor Spa has been designed to create a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Built inside a 19th century walled garden, the contemporary airy structure contrasts and complements the hotel and shares its nine acres of parklands and gardens. We love their stunning swim-through heated indoor and outdoor pool and the Isopod floatation tank.

Part of Historic Sussex Hotels, it’s sister spas at Bailiffscourt on Climping Beach, and The Spread Eagle in Midhurst town are also well worth adding to your Sussex spa break lists.
