October is upon us and that means it’s time for Sober October. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Sober October encourages people to go alcohol-free in October to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Virgin Mojito
Delicious and refreshing. In a pitcher, simply combine a tablespoon of brown sugar, a small crushed bunch of mint, the juice of three limes and sparkling water. Add ice and slices of lime as garnish.
Cranberry-Apple Sparkler
This drink is tart, sweet, and bubbly all at once. Combine cranberry juice, sparkling water, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice in a pitcher with ice and stir until combined. Garnish with slices of lemon or thyme.
Orange & Tumeric Spritzer
In this refreshing drink, the bright flavours of an orange and its juice are balanced by spices of turmeric for a vibrant taste.
Fill a glass with ice, fresh orange juice, sparkling water, lemon juice, ground turmeric and coconut sugar. Stir well and garnish with rosemary or orange peel.
Strawberry Lemonade Sparkler
Sweet, refreshing and vibrant.
1. In a blender, combine one cup of strawberries, brown sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour puree into a fine mesh strainer over a bowl, using the back of a spoon, press puree through the strainer to remove seeds.
3. Combine the strawberry puree with sparkling water and ice cubes. Garnish with strawberries or mint leaves if desired.
